How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be booked online through the booking portal.
Once your session is scheduled, you’ll receive a confirmation email and a reminder closer to the appointment.
If you are attending via telehealth, a secure link will be provided.
If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for you, you’re welcome to reach out with any questions before booking.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other.We will explore what has brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You are welcome to move at your own pace. Therapy is collaborative, and your comfort and safety are always prioritised.
How long are sessions?
Standard counselling sessions are 50 minutes.
We will discuss frequency together based on your needs and circumstances.
Do I need a referral to see a psychologist?
No, you do not need a referral. You can make an appointment with our psychologists without a referral from your GP or a psychiatrist. If you decide to do this, you will need to pay the full session fee out of your own pocket.
If you would like to see whether you are eligible for referral under a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will need to speak with your GP or a psychiatrist prior to making your first appointment.
What are the fees and rebates?
Session fees are payable on the day of your appointment.
If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, Medicare rebates may apply.
Private health rebates may also be available depending on your provider.
If you have questions about fees, you are welcome to contact the clinic before booking.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a cancellation fee. This allows appointment times to be offered to other clients who may be waiting for support.
Is my personal information secure?
Yes, we take the security of your personal information seriously. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. Your information will only be used for order processing and will not be shared with any third parties.

What does the assessment process involve?

How are assessment fees structured?
